Set up, operate, and slit paper rolls to manufacture materials for sack production, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Work independently while following instructions from production adjusters, supervisors, and the plant manager.
Review work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine the necessary components and settings for our cutting and slicing machines.
Input instructions using computer keyboards, activate programs, and adjust cutting guides and clamps.
Identify and remove defective materials, readjusting machine components to meet quality standards.
Start and operate cutting machines, adjusting controls to maintain optimal speed and product quality safely.
Maintain accurate records of production quantities, types, and dimensions.
Monitor machine operations for malfunctions and replenish supplies as needed.
Verify setups and make necessary adjustments for seamless production.
Remove and store completed materials for further processing.
Select and install machine components according to specifications using hand tools.
Manually move stock to and from machines or utilize carts and lift trucks.
Regularly clean and lubricate machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
Feed stock into machines and adjust positioning along cutting lines.
Manage recycling of waste materials, accurately weighing and recording daily production statistics.
Replenish log sheets and maintain accurate production accounts on the DBH board.
Uphold safety standards at all times by avoiding reaching into active machinery.
Conduct daily housekeeping to keep the workspace clean and organized.
This is a 2nd shift position.
