Overview
Senior Proposals Manager for KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) in Houston. STS provides front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management for hydrocarbons and energy transition industries. The Senior Proposals Manager supports the Integrated Solutions – Americas business unit, focusing on sustainable solutions in upstream and downstream hydrocarbon markets across onshore, offshore, brownfield, and greenfield projects. Services include front end feasibility and conceptual studies through pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, EPC, EPCm, PMC, consulting, and digital solutions. The role is part of the pursuit team working with sales (business development) and operations (project director) to produce creative, client-focused, winning proposals. Location: Houston, TX
Responsibilities
Manage bids through the entire lifecycle, including win theme development, bid strategy, solution development, and team reviews. Lead proposals, pre-qualifications, executive summaries, knowledge store contributions, client presentations, and support project directors and business development directors on major pursuits. Support the Head of Proposals in delivering high-quality proposal documentation; plan proposals and coordinate deliverables; ensure adherence to proposal procedures; provide guidance from kick-off to red team reviews. Ensure proposals are responsive to invitation to tender documents; develop, coordinate, and produce win themes and strategies to differentiate KBR from competitors. Write individual sections of proposals or, for smaller proposals, the entire proposal; conduct bid reviews to ensure high quality and alignment with KBR standards. Support business development and operations in developing all aspects of the bid; stand in for the Head of Proposals and Manager of Proposals in their absence. Maintain data and information needed for proposal preparation; prepare expressions of interest, pre-qualifications, client presentations, and support other sales and marketing activities. Manage ongoing maintenance and development of knowledge stores including standard company information, experience lists, executive summaries, and all proposals-related information. Drive the bid team to follow processes, perform due diligence before submissions to meet tight deadlines; report to Senior Management on proposal activities and status.
Experience and Qualifications
Proven experience in bid management and delivering complex proposals under tight timeframes; good understanding of proposal processes and key principles for an international business. Ability to work under pressure with strong people management skills; experience delivering proposals for clients worldwide in the energy sector; experience with collaborative proposals (e.g., JV partners or other global offices).

Requirements
Relevant years of experience in bid management, preferably in the oil and gas industry or energy transition. Strong management and organizational skills.
