Emp Status : Regular Full time Work Shift Compensation Range : The base pay scale for this position is $150,000.00 - $215,000.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. What You Will Be Doing The Human Resources Insights Director will establish and lead a newly created HR data and analytics function, building the capability from the ground up in partnership with HR and IT leadership. This high-opportunity role will design the foundation for how workforce data is governed, analyzed, and translated into insights that drive organizational performance, workforce readiness, and employee experience in a healthcare setting. As the first leader in this space, the Director will partner with the CHRO to define the vision and strategy for HR analytics, while also delivering near-term value through dashboards, reporting, and predictive insights. Position Accountabilities/Competencies Include Strategic Workforce Analytics : Establish the enterprise HR analytics strategy and roadmap, aligned with business priorities. Deliver proactive insights on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities using advanced analytics. Support strategic workforce planning and scenario modeling to inform leadership decision-making. Leverage Workday data and analytics modules, as well as other platforms, to strengthen workforce insights. Dashboards & Metrics : Build and manage people dashboards that provide timely, relevant insights to executives and managers. Standardize HR metrics and reporting to ensure consistency, transparency, and usability across the organization. Develop predictive models to identify trends and support proactive interventions in areas such as retention, engagement, and performance. Apply Workday expertise and other HR tools to automate, scale, and enhance reporting. Data Governance & Integrity : Partner with IT and HR systems teams to design frameworks for HR data governance, quality, and compliance. Ensure the secure, ethical, and reliable use of workforce data across the enterprise. Drive data literacy within HR and among business leaders, building confidence in insights and analytics outputs. Culture of Evidence-Based Decision-Making : Champion the use of workforce analytics in strategic discussions, planning, and talent decisions. Build the capability of HR and leadership teams to interpret and act on insights effectively. Communicate complex data findings in a clear, compelling, and actionable way for diverse audiences. Proactively surface opportunities to strengthen data-driven decision-making at all levels. Partnership & Leadership : Partner closely with HR leadership, IT, Finance, and business leaders to connect workforce insights with organizational outcomes. Serve as a thought leader on workforce analytics, staying current on trends, technologies, and best practices. Model a self-starter approach—building the function from the ground up, driving execution, and creating long-term sustainability. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in HR, workforce analytics, or related field. Demonstrated success designing and delivering workforce analytics strategies, dashboards, and metrics. Strong knowledge of HR processes (talent, culture, performance, retention) and ability to translate them into measurable outcomes. Expertise in Workday reporting and analytics; experience with additional HRIS systems, data visualization tools, and advanced analytics techniques preferred. Familiarity with AI-enabled workforce analytics techniques preferred. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership. Proven ability to operate independently, anticipate organizational needs, and build a new function in a complex healthcare environment.
