Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions within the unit during their shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC directs nursing care per established policies, acts as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes. Responsibilities: Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. Participate in evaluating the quality of care services provided in collaboration with management. Work with subject experts to foster a teamwork atmosphere that enhances outcomes and service. Promote a patient-first philosophy and assist with service recovery when necessary. Engage in current nursing strategies to improve employee engagement and patient care. Support staffing needs by providing input on interviewing, selecting, training, and evaluating performance for new hires. Manage staff scheduling to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt from the BSN requirement. Valid registered nurse license in North Carolina or an active compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing. National Nursing Certification in specialty area.
