Help customers complete their taxes using TurboTax products. Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries to support our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers in everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role using video communication software; document interactions to maintain accurate records. Who You Are
Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and active PTIN. Bilingual English/Spanish (written & spoken). Passionate about helping clients navigate tax complexities; committed to delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes. Excellent customer service skills; comfortable interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly manner. What You Need
Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Compensation
The position offers a competitive base pay range depending on location. Example ranges include: Bay Area CA $28.80-$36.50; Southern CA $28.80-$36.50; Colorado $27.50-$34.80; Hawaii $28.80-$36.50; Illinois $27.50-$34.80; Maryland $27.50-$34.80; Massachusetts $28.80-$36.50; Minnesota $24.80-$30.30; New Jersey $28.80-$36.50; New York $28.80-$36.50; Ohio $24.80-$30.30; Vermont $27.50-$34.80; Washington $28.80-$36.50; Washington DC $28.80-$36.50.
