This role is crucial to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide answers to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your ability to promptly address customer concerns will be key to ensuring maximum satisfaction, while staying informed on product features to maintain high visual standards. Your tasks will include meeting customer service excellence while achieving the store's sales goals. You will have contact with customers, including minors, and may handle cash and various payment methods, personal information, and merchandise in both supervised and unsupervised settings. The selected candidate will primarily work at Store #5360, located at 2315 Ridge Rd. W, Rochester, NY 14616 and may also work at another location at 4756 Lake Rd. Brockport, NY 144220, as well as other nearby stores within a 30-mile radius. Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting relevant products and services. Build trusting relationships with retail and wholesale customers. Accurately process sales transactions, adhering to company policies. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain detailed work order files and product formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications. Assist with stock shelves and set up displays. Keep store equipment clean and presentable. Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks. Help with deliveries as necessary. Ensure assigned areas are in stock and visually appealing. Stay informed about product offerings and customer options. Follow inventory control procedures. Provide suggestions for improving sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Must be available to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles is preferred. Previous experience in selling paint and paint-related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish.
