Concession Employee

Eight temporary/full-time positions with Sivori Catering, Inc. from 01/01/2026 through 10/31/2026. All foods to be prepared require a short preparation and cook time. Corn dogs - come frozen, the hot dogs are pre-stuck & pre-boxed (no preparation is required from employee). They are dipped in batter, put into the fryer & removed with tongs when finished. Chicken tenders (come frozen) are prebreaded & come in a bag (no preparation required from employee). Employee drops tenders in fryer basket, places basket (with a handle) in the oil to fry, & removes basket when done. Tenders are removed from basket with tongs & put into container to give to customer. Fries are prebagged from supplier & come frozen. Employee drops them in fryer basket, puts basket in oil, removes basket when done. Uses tongs to put fries in container to give to customer. Nachos - prebagged from supplier. Employee wears gloves & puts nachos in food container, drizzles cheese on them, hands to employee at selling window. Hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, & Philly steak - no preparation needed as all of these food items come prepackaged. Employee puts these items on griddle, using tongs, cooks each item to the proper temperature. Puts items on buns & hands to employee at selling window. Turkey legs - prepackaged, no preparation needed. Employee puts legs into the smoker, ensures they cook to the proper temperature, removes legs with oven mitts, wraps in foil, hands to employee at window. Pizza - pizza crust comes frozen already shaped into pie from supplier, no preparation needed for crust. Employee tops crust with ingredients, puts in conveyor oven, pulls it out when done with pizza paddle, cuts it into slices with pizza cutter, puts it on a warmer shelf for sale as ordered. Pretzels - come already made. Employee places them in conveyor oven on tray, takes out tray with oven mitt, place them on warmer shelf. Lemonade - slice lemons in quarters using a knife, place lemon slices in cup, put sugar on top of lemons, squeeze together using a commercial crusher, put ice on top with ice scoop, place lid on & shake well to mix all ingredients. Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement facility. On-site clean-up & organize, prepare simple food items & beverages using proper safety precautions & measures. Set-up, stock, & clean service areas. Tear-down & pack up stock in booth. Prepare, assemble, & serve carnival-related ready-to-eat foods such as corn dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, fries, nachos, hot pretzels, sausage, Philly steak, burgers, hot dogs, turkey legs, & lemonade using deep fryers, mixers, warmers, & grills. All foods to be prepared require a short preparation & cook time. Teardown & pack up stock in booth involves cleaning equipment, storing food & small equipment in trailer, power down electrical equipment by unplugging from outlets, removing all food items from refrigerators & freezers to store in appropriate containers for transportation to next worksite or dispose as needed, cleaning all cooking surfaces, countertops, & sinks using a degreaser & sanitizing solutions, ensuring all windows & service hatches are latched & locked, & ensuring all doors are shut & secured before moving the trailer to the next location. - no tools or equipment are needed for setting up or tearing down the food concession trailers. Employer pays in advance or reimburses workers in the first workweek for all government-mandated and visa-related fees (excluding passport fees). For non-local workers (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), employer arranges and pays directly for inbound travel costs no later than upon completion of the first half of the contract (the 50 percent point). Inbound travel includes transportation costs from worker's permanent residence or place of recruitment to the place of employment, a daily subsistence for meals, and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Subsistence reimbursements based on rates specified in the Federal Register (currently $16.28 per day minimum, or $68.00 per day maximum for workers with acceptable receipts). Transportation reimbursements based on worker's actual cost, not to exceed the most economical common carrier transportation costs for distances involved. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs to same workers upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequent employment. Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total contract period, beginning with the first workday after the worker arrives at the place of employment and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, as well as any hours offered within the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to the maximum number of daily hours on the job order. Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths period guarantee described above. Employer will provide without charge company-specific uniform, as applicable, and all tools, supplies and equipment necessary to perform duties assigned. Employer assists non-local workers to secure worker-paid lodging, if necessary. Rental payments are paid by workers directly to property owner and are not payroll deducted. Worksite location: 289 Pitts Point Road Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 in Bullitt county and multiple worksites within Palm Beach (FL), Martin (FL), Hillsborough (FL), St. Lucie (FL), Alachua (FL), Polk (FL), Jefferson (KY), La Porte (IN), Cape Girardeau (MO), Montgomery (AL), and Escambia (FL) counties. Travel required and provided to work in all counties. Travel provided to all events as per itinerary. Workers must commute from home at prior worksite to the next worksite. Optional transportation to worksites provided at no cost to the worker. Employer will offer daily transportation to and from the worksite from a centralized designated pick-up place at no cost to workers. Use of this transportation is voluntary. Wages: Wage rate is no less than $12.37-$15.45/hour based on location. Overtime wages vary at: $18.56 - $23.18/ hour based on location. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period is bi-weekly. Workers are paid by check on Tuesday. Hours, schedule, and days vary - typically working a 7-hour shift between 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Monday through Friday. Employer will offer 35 hours per week. Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions.
