experienced Associate General Counsel, Employment
(8+ years) to advise on
employment and benefits matters. Responsibilities include counseling on employment issues, handling administrative complaints, drafting policies and agreements, overseeing outside counsel, supporting HR on investigations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Must have strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, excellent judgment, and collaborative skills. JD required. Qualifications: JD and 8+ years of employment/labor law experience (in-house) Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA) Strong judgment, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide practical, business-minded legal advice Licensed to practice in Illinois Bonus: 25% (based on company + individual performance) Benefits: Health plans, 401(k) with match, product discounts, flexible PTO, fertility/adoption support Hybrid Schedule: Tues–Thurs in office Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.
