The Opportunity As a Bartender at 1228 Main, you'll be more than just a drink maker-you'll be a curator of experiences. From crafting timeless classics to creating innovative cocktails, you'll deliver beverages with precision, creativity, and flair while ensuring every guest feels welcome and cared for.
What You'll Do Provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service to every guest Accurately mix, garnish, and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks Engage guests with recommendations, menus, and memorable interactions Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar at all times Restock, replenish, and track bar inventory Handle payments, balance cash, and operate POS systems efficiently Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at the highest level Support your team and perform other duties as needed What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years bartending or food & beverage service experience Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits Skilled in mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks with consistency Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a professional, positive attitude At least 21 years of age

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders and horizontally. Employees will use hands to handle objects and tools, and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc.
