Supervises and trains designated Business Office staff. Assists in Business Office policy and procedure development and implementation. Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, 8:30am-5:00pm Education and/or Experience:

Minimum two years supervisor experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Business or related field and/or equivalent Business Office experience required. Certificates, Licenses, AND Registrations:

Certification in medical procedure coding or equivalent work experience Essential Functions:

Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. Supervise staff in designated areas; assign employees to areas according to departmental needs. Train staff on job functions and computer applications. Assist in researching problem accounts, and approve refunds/adjustments when appropriate. Monitor reports from different applications; ensure appropriate follow-ups. Direct and assist staff in conflict resolution. Prepare annual Performance Appraisal. Recommend wage increases and promotions where appropriate. Maintain and monitor attendance records to ensure compliance. Initiate disciplinary action as needed. Assist with the development, implementation, and review of departmental and operation budgets, company policies, procedures, and programs.
