Under the close supervision of our Clinical Supervisor, you\'ll provide primary contact with participants, be responsible for evaluations and assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide group and family counseling. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. license with the Washington State Department of Health.

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and assessments; develop treatment plans; provide group and family counseling under supervision. Serve as primary contact for participants; provide wrap-around services in an outpatient setting. Provide advocacy and case management; participate in THS committees as assigned. Complete THS Relias trainings, as assigned; adhere to THS policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure quality documentation and service delivery. Maintain professional conduct and a professional image in the community. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Current involvement as a student and/or trainee in the process of becoming a Substance Use Disorder Professional, with proof required at the time of hire. Associate Degree in Social Services/Sciences or related field from an accredited college/university OR two years’ experience in counseling, case evaluation, staffing presentations, and record keeping. Must meet standards for qualifications as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee per WAC and possess the SUDPT credential. Documentation of training and education necessary to meet and maintain qualified status is required, including the date of qualification as a SUDPT. Must have knowledge and experience in chemical dependency, family dynamics, and counseling. Able to work effectively with diverse populations; able to work well in teams and under pressure. Maintain a professional image within the community at all times. Drug-free for a minimum of three years prior to employment and no misuse of alcohol or drugs while employed as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; computer proficiency including electronic medical records documentation.
