Overview
The Senior Regulatory Coordinator supports a top motor vehicle manufacturer’s Product Regulatory Office by ensuring new business teams understand and comply with relevant regulations. This role focuses on conducting regulatory research, providing compliance consultation, and assisting with certification processes for emerging products and services. It involves collaboration with internal teams and external agencies, monitoring regulatory changes, and contributing to process improvements. The coordinator also supports library services and helps optimize resource allocation.
Responsibilities
Conduct regulatory research and analysis.
Advise on compliance approaches and strategies.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on business operations.
Support certification processes for products and services.
Drive process improvements within regulatory workflows.
Manage library services resources to support regulatory intelligence and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related discipline.
Experience reading and interpreting regulations; legal/paralegal backgrounds are helpful.
Broad knowledge of regulations (safety, chemical, human rights, etc.).
Understanding of how regulations impact business operations enterprise-wide.
Experience working with various teams and stakeholders.
Experience in large, complex organizations is helpful (finance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries).
Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour.
