General Procurement Project Buyer (Contract) - 1 year+ ONSITE

Herndon, VA Role Summary
Support North America's General Procurement team by managing procurement transactions, ensuring contract and data compliance, and facilitating tendering projects. Assist senior buyers in monitoring project schedules, risk visibility, and savings targets. Transition projects from tender to operational ordering and drive sourcing, spend analysis, and contract negotiations. Responsibilities
Manage procurement transactions and ensure contract/data compliance (SAP, Click & Source, Click n Buy). Facilitate communication with internal customers and integrate procurement for North America. Prepare data analysis for tenders and support local and regional procurement aligned with global strategies. Create/negotiate contract terms; escalate issues as needed. Support coaching, team improvement, and process compliance. Resolve procurement issues, report savings, and maintain strong vendor/customer relationships. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years relevant procurement experience. Strong team leadership and negotiation skills. Knowledge of North American suppliers, cost structures, and Total Cost of Ownership. Seniority level
