A Day in the Life: In this role, you will be a key member of Medtronic’s center-led Indirect Supply Management (ISM) team and report to the ISM Ops Network leader. This global project-based role allows you to partner with stakeholders across many functions, regions, and businesses to drive value. You will be assigned specific manufacturing sites and will have direct responsibility for identifying, initiating, and executing improvement projects that reduce spend and generate value within the MRO category. You will partner with the center-led category management teams to implement pan-Medtronic procurement strategies and provide critical input to drive future strategies. The best candidate will possess an intrinsic drive to make a difference in the MRO/Operations category and for Medtronic overall and the patients we serve. Responsibilities

Identify, lead, and execute projects that deliver economic value to the global Operations Networks. Engage and influence stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization. Partner closely with the center-led category managers to understand and implement key pan-Medtronic strategies. Represent and share network and site-specific requirements and strategies with the center-led category management organization. Collaborate with key functions that support supply management (e.g., legal, finance, quality/compliance). Ensure that manufacturing sites are adequately supported, including engaging stakeholders, sharing dashboards with key metrics, conducting site-level diagnostics, leading workshops to identify savings opportunities, and ensuring supplier quality and supply continuity. Educate on key indirect supply management initiatives and policies. Develop robust data gathering and data quality maintenance protocols to ensure spend transparency and support baselining for cost-reduction efforts. Initiate and implement appropriate category strategy changes. Create internal and external benchmark analyses and identify actions to achieve functional advantage. Lead supplier negotiation efforts. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required Minimum of 4 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, information systems, or business with 5+ years of work experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, operations, or related areas Category Management experience in MRO or Operations categories Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI Ability to manage and influence stakeholders Collaborative team player Critical thinking skills Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) Physical Job Requirements

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. We recognize contributions and provide a comprehensive range of benefits and compensation designed to support you at every career and life stage. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): $82,400.00 - $123,600.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range applies across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, market conditions, and location.
