Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead strategic GenAI and Machine Learning initiatives within the manufacturing sector. This role involves driving innovation across areas such as machinery, packaging, and supply chain operations. The position is a long-term contract and 100% remote, with opportunities to work closely with stakeholders, influence decisions, and shape project outcomes. Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of strategic product roadmaps for GenAI and Machine Learning initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliverables aligned with business objectives. Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on priorities. Oversee backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile Scrum processes to maintain project momentum. Provide technical guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions. Support solutioning efforts by participating in technical discussions and ensuring feasibility of proposed approaches. Monitor and manage the integration of AI/ML models into existing systems and workflows. Analyze data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clarity and collaboration. Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously drive innovation. Requirements

Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or pharma domains. Strong technical knowledge, including familiarity with Python, Databricks, and GenAI frameworks. Hands-on expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies, backlog grooming, and Jira for project tracking. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics. Solid understanding of data management, systems integration, and software engineering principles. Background in Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Self-motivated and proactive, with a proactive, consultative approach to problem-solving. Robert Half
