Sr. Project Transportation Planner – GFT

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid work model; regular attendance at the Seattle office) What You Will Do: Support transportation and transit program management oversight work, providing direct support to clients on the management and delivery of projects. Manage projects and tasks, including budgets, schedules, and workloads; lead and support client engagement activities and pursuits. Conduct research and prepare documentation, ensuring quality and timeliness; deliver final deliverables, including presentations. Work as part of the team to drive local and national strategy for transportation planning, delivering projects and programs. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies. What You Will Be Challenged To Do: Lead and manage projects and tasks, including budgeting and staffing considerations. Support and lead client engagement activities, including pursuits. Deliver transportation planning and environmental studies tasks; support state programs for transportation categories. Open to flexible work hours for West and East Coast assignments; reports to the Seattle, WA office but may work on projects nationwide. Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills; ability to write clear materials; collaborate as a team member and grow in your career. Education | Experience: Master’s Degree in Planning or related field preferred 10+ years of relevant experience Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of M365 and Adobe products Strong background in transit capital and operations planning Compensation: Salary range: $127,000–$153,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
