Overview
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the performance of a high-volume distribution facility. This individual will drive operational excellence across logistics, supply chain, and customer service while ensuring the site meets its financial and productivity goals. Responsibilities
Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for a large distribution center, including workforce management, budget oversight, and service delivery. Champion operational improvements by introducing innovative practices that enhance fulfillment, inventory control, and overall efficiency. Inspire, coach, and develop a team through effective performance management and engagement practices. Represent the site’s operations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. Oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing short-term demands with long-term growth strategies. Uphold a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the facility. Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational success. Qualifications
Proven track record (10+ years) leading large-scale distribution or supply chain operations. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems, distribution technology, and data analytics (Excel expertise required). Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification preferred.
