Job Description The Regulatory Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in product management, facilitating the quick and compliant market entry of new and renewed import products, primarily from South Korea. The role involves monitoring regulatory environments to ensure ingredients, formulas, labels, and labeling meet market standards. Responsibilities include: Ensuring FDA/USDA/CFIA labeling compliance, including translation and label verification. Coordinating with stakeholders in the U.S. and South Korea to ensure labeling compliance. Creating Nutrient Fact Panels and ingredient statements using Genesis software, conforming to regulatory requirements. Reviewing marketing and sales claims for regulatory compliance. Monitoring regulatory changes and updating product labels and ingredients accordingly. Improving and implementing regulatory processes, procedures, and training. Maintaining audit records. Supporting additional projects/tasks as needed. Knowledge of EU/UK food labeling regulations is a plus. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant food regulatory experience. Knowledge of FDA/USDA/CFIA food labeling regulations. Experience with Genesis software. Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and demonstrate initiative. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of food product development and import/export processes. Korean/English bilingual proficiency is required.
