Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the 787 Component Services Program (CSP) team as an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent located in Seattle, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will support all supply chain procurement activities in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization. As an integral member of a Boeing CSP team, you will be responsible for the procurement, operations and supplier management activities handling all aspects of the supply chain lifecycle from womb to tomb. Responsibilities
Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply Manage the purchase order lifecycle from PO creation to closure Lead supplier engagements and drive supplier relationships Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate, monitor and improve supplier performance Gather and analyze data for supplier and/or customer performance evaluation regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and performance Analyze post-production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities Process, track, monitor and coordinate customer material, returns and delivery requirements and customer orders Process documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims and cost recovery Act as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs Demonstrate strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills; proactively engage with various disciplines and program stakeholders Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 1+ year of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations 1+ year of experience working directly with suppliers or Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or procurement practices and processes 1+ year of experience developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners) 1+ year of experience in a role requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree or higher 2+ years of experience in Aerospace Repair Management or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment 1+ year of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools Experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions Additional Information
