Standard package Responsibilities
Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all markets/industries of interest for the Company Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, detailing activities to meet or exceed sales quota Understands pricing and proposal models Engages with business owners and decision makers in meaningful business conversations Maximizes opportunities to close sales and increase market share from competitors Sells consultatively, recommending company solutions to clients’ business needs Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, calls, cold outreach, direct mail, email, presentations, and networking Assists in implementing company marketing plans as needed Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses identifying problems and proposing solutions based on the company’s capabilities Sources and develops client relationships and referrals Gathers and submits detailed business information for underwriting, pricing, and presentations Maintains accurate records of all sales activities and territory analyses Adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethics codes Participates in development of presentations and educational programs for clients, prospects, and employees Provides regular activity and results reports (daily calls, weekly plans, monthly/annual analyses) Monitors competition and market trends; recommends changes based on findings Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and proposing solutions Maintains professional and technical knowledge through ongoing learning Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy haul / heavy lift and specialty rigging, providing high-capacity lifting equipment and SPMT solutions, often with marine vessel involvement Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent industry experience Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications Positive attitude; strong time management and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Project Eligible to apply; please note that we strive to respond to all applicants, but during high activity periods delays may occur Seniority level
