RESEARCH ADMINISTRATION TRAINING MANAGER, Research Operations, Analytics & Systems. Location: Boston, MA, United States. Full-Time/Regular. This role is part of Sponsored Programs within the Office of Research, focused on aiding the research community from funding through proposal development and supporting research administration needs. The Training Manager will support developing, implementing, and managing training guidance and processes to ensure compliance with accounting principles, sponsor requirements, state and federal guidelines, and University policies. The position reports to the Director of Training and Development and ideally has experience in research administration. The work includes onboarding new administrators to equip them with the foundation to be successful and thrive in their roles, supporting faculty with strong grant and finance administration needs. Responsibilities

Execute, manage, and contribute to projects and initiatives related to the new training model. Implement and distribute training guidance related to sponsored research for central and departmental staff and faculty. Provide support during ad-hoc projects; generate surveys and dashboards to support initiatives and needs. Assist with managing and maintaining Sponsored Research web pages and support SP blog and SP communications (internal and external). Qualifications

Required Skills: Passion for developing others and sharing knowledge. Ability to create engaging methods and materials; proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tools such as Copilot, Canva, Qualtrics, Zoom, polling software, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Experience and Education: 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a Master’s degree. 3-5 years of research administration experience preferred. Equivalent experience can substitute for a degree. Benefits and Other Details
