Staples is seeking a Benefits professional to administer and support U.S. benefit programs, including health & welfare, retirement, and compliance. You will stay ahead of regulatory changes, drive improvements, and serve as a consultative resource for associates and stakeholders. What You Will Do
Administer and support all aspects of U.S. benefit programs. Manage compliance activities and prepare/open enrollment processes. Leverage analytical skills to implement innovative benefits solutions and stay ahead of regulatory changes. What You Bring to the Table
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels. Proactive, resourceful, and able to identify and implement improvements. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in U.S. benefits administration (health & welfare, retirement, compliance). Knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting benefits (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA). Ability to prepare and review compliance reports (e.g., Form 5500, ACA filings) accurately and timely. Proficiency with HRIS, benefits administration systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of benefits administration experience in a large, multi-state organization. Experience with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants, including performance monitoring and issue resolution. Professional certifications such as CEBS, PHR/SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP. Experience supporting open enrollment processes, including system configuration/testing and employee communications. We Offer
