Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of site development and heavy civil construction projects, ensuring completion in accordance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. This role involves coordination with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes across a range of complex assignments. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans; monitor progress and implement adjustments as necessary. Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met. Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services; negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships. Supervise and mentor project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and field staff. Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Prepare and present project status reports, change orders, and cost forecasts to senior management and clients. Identify and resolve project risks, conflicts, and issues promptly. Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in heavy civil, sitework, or excavation projects. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed. Benefits
