Overview

Sr. Program Director - Global Facilities Delivery leads and manages large programs of capital assets for Lilly, delivering new and renovated facilities that support medical innovation and patient care. The Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Organization, part of Corporate Engineering, coordinates design, construction, and qualification to deliver asset capability and capacity with safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance. Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead and manage teams delivering large capital programs of at least $1BN USD, spanning Brownfield or Greenfield sites from front-end planning through operational verification. Ensure asset capability or capacity with safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives. Interface/Communication: Lead from regional locations, maintaining effective communication with GFD leadership, project teams, governance bodies, business partners, and stakeholders. Facilitate issue resolution, manage scope changes, and execute work safely with quality and value. Compliance: Apply a disciplined project management approach aligned with Company Policies and Procedures. Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for projects and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies for personnel, contractors, and subcontractors from conceptual design through operational verification. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical related field (e.g., project management). Minimum of 15+ years of experience in capital project delivery in industrial or manufacturing facilities, with prior leadership of projects and/or multiple projects >$100MM. Experience managing greenfield projects. Willingness to relocate and/or travel to locations outside of home state/country. Additional Preferences

Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. Capital Project Management experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities (e.g., Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices, and related lab projects). Experience in GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, construction quality, project controls, engineering disciplines, safety, and scheduling. Ability to influence through people, work effectively from distance with minimal supervision, and demonstrate sound judgment with appropriate stakeholder engagement. Effective written and verbal communication; ability to influence without direct administrative authority. Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred). Experience living or working outside the U.S.; willingness to embrace continuous improvement. Additional Information
