Executive Search Consultant - Electrical & Data Center / Pre-Construction Manager - Electrical Construction Key Responsibilities: Prepare preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates and studies during preconstruction Lead conceptual and detailed estimating for large commercial and industrial projects ($50M+) Evaluate subcontractor proposals and monitor cost trends to ensure competitive and accurate budgets Participate in design decisions, constructability reviews, value engineering, and scheduling during preconstruction Support business development through proposal presentations, interviews, and client-facing meetings Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, architects, and engineers Partner closely with operations to determine staffing needs and build project teams Work with internal teams in Estimating, VDC, Safety, and Engineering to enhance deliverables Contribute to pursuit strategies for new work opportunities Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to junior staff Qualifications: 4+ years of estimating experience in a Preconstruction Manager role Experience with large commercial and industrial projects (concept through closeout) Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel); experience with Accubid and/or Conest preferred Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit Strong communication and presentation skills Track record of employment stability and client-focused leadership Competitive compensation package with bonuses tied to company performance 401(k) with 8% employer match Health benefit options and service discounts Relocation assistance Flexible work schedule and stability in a growing company Onsite gym, leadership development, and long-term career support in a “hire-to-retire” culture Additional Information: Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other Industries: Construction Location notes: Dallas, TX Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Harris & Co Executive Search by 2x Get notified about new Preconstruction Manager jobs in
