Overview
Job Title: Project Manager - Technology Development & AI Initiatives Vice President (Hybrid)
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
The Regulatory Strategy and Development team is responsible for aligning the Regulatory Event Tracking (RET) system with the Regulatory Engagement Strategy and ensuring all required regulatory information is tracked, managed, and reported.
Responsibilities
Project Management (Technology Development): Manage a portfolio of RET projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including business cases and cost-benefit analyses, for various initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Engage in budget planning and cost management for all assigned projects, specifically including planning for the RET.
Implement robust tracking mechanisms for all project releases, coordinating with technology teams to ensure smooth and controlled deployments.
Prepare and present regular project status reports, key metrics, and risk assessments to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth reviews of project documentation, identify potential roadblocks, and execute strategies to keep projects on track.
Ensure all project stakeholders are identified and actively engaged in scope definition and throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively assess and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary.
AI Initiatives & Use Cases: Track the progress of all AI initiatives and use cases, ensuring they remain on schedule and meet defined objectives.
Collaborate with AI development teams to understand technical progress, challenges, and requirements related to AI implementation within the program.
Apply knowledge of AI concepts, including Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering, to assess initiative progress and provide input.
Report on the status and impact of AI initiatives to management, translating technical details into clear, business-oriented insights.
Identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies to improve efficiency and develop new solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a technology or financial services environment.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex technology projects, including budgeting, planning, and release tracking.
Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, with experience or knowledge of AI/ML model development, implementation, or validation, focusing on Generative AI, NLP, and related techniques like RAG and prompt engineering.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical findings to diverse audiences, including senior management.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related quantitative field.
Master's degree or relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
