The Director of Operations will be a key leader ensuring Expion360 operates with efficiency, quality, and agility across its global supply chain and internal teams. Reporting directly to the COO, this individual will oversee daily operations tied to manufacturing partners (domestic and overseas), logistics, and supply chain performance, while also providing leadership support across the support team, sales team, and engineering projects. This role requires a strategic operator who can balance hands-on execution with high-level oversight, aligning multiple departments to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales performance, and ensure timely delivery of innovative energy storage solutions. Key Responsibilities

Operations & Supply Chain Oversee relationships with overseas and domestic manufacturing partners. Manage procurement, vendor performance, and logistics planning. Optimize inventory flow, warehousing, and delivery processes. Establish KPIs for operational efficiency and partner accountability. Collaborate with Sales leadership to align operations with sales forecasts and customer needs. Oversee the customer support team to ensure timely, high-quality responses to inquiries and warranty claims. Provide strategic feedback loops between support, sales, engineering, and operations to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Work with the engineering team to coordinate product rollouts and integration projects. Support cross-functional teams on engineering-driven initiatives (e.g., software updates, hardware revisions). Ensure operational readiness and supply chain alignment with new product launches. Partner with the COO to align operations with overall company goals. Mentor, develop, and lead team members across operations, support, and logistics functions. Lead cross-departmental initiatives to improve collaboration and communication. Drive continuous improvement across processes, reporting, and systems. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, supply chain, or business management. Proven track record overseeing multiple departments and aligning cross-functional teams. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and process improvement skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and CRM systems. Preferred: Master’s degree in Business or related field. Background in renewable energy, electronics, or lithium battery industry. Experience working with sales and support teams in a B2B environment. 2+ years of experience with Netsuite ERP. Administrator experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and CRM systems. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process methodologies. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Performance-based bonuses.
