Job Description Lead and grow a high-performing S&P team within the assigned account portfolio and industry vertical. Work directly with S&P leadership, Account leadership, and clients to manage expectations and team deliverables. This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of world-class Sourcing and Procurement professionals.
Key responsibilities
Provide impactful leadership in a cross-functional and collaborative environment to drive immediate and sustained benefits to our clients and JLL.
Drive results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, managing to operational excellence guidelines, and meeting account-level KPIs and goals.
Oversee assigned portfolio compliance and controls, develop new and innovative sourcing strategies, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities.
Achieves Financial and Compliance Results
Oversight of annual sourcing plan development, actively managing that plan with the business, and executing against it.
Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
Own sourcing compliance and controls. Identify and share opportunities for improvement with appropriate functional leaders.
Ensure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across all assigned accounts.
Partner teams closely with operations by providing management, detailed instructions, and follow-up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
Develop and maintain a systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring suppliers\' performance, sourcing effectiveness, and communicating these results to the business.
Develop and Lead High-Performing Teams
Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent.
Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that are committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress, and developmental goals, including analysing strengths and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.
Actively participate in talent supply/demand by networking, mentoring, and sharing internal and external candidates.
Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships
Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plans are implemented and aligned with the necessary objectives.
Participate in client meetings/strategy sessions as needed.
Establish and maintain relationships within the assigned portfolio, including Managing Directors and Account Directors.
Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business, including best practices and innovation.
Develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best-in-class performance across the associated accounts.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including Corporate Legal and Risk Management, to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.
Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program.
Demonstrate influential leadership and collaborative approach across a complex matrix organization.
Qualifications and Skills
8+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services is highly desired, along with people management experience.
Bachelor's Degree - Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. MBA is a plus. CPM, CPSM, or CPSD certification preferred.
Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint. E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%).
Ability to work remotely (home office) and on-site at client locations.
