JOB SUMMARY
The Cesar Chavez Foundation has immediate openings for Credentialed Teachers who are energetic, strategic, and highly organized. Through this program, teachers will instruct K-6th grade students in a Spanish Immersion Program with lessons provided by the Cesar Chavez Foundation. School sessions will be in person and will begin October 2025. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain all ethical practices of the Cesar Chavez Foundation by serving the community with integrity, dignity, and a high degree of professionalism. Implement the Cesar Chavez Foundation lesson plans, schedule, and calendars. Ensure all instructional space and materials are organized and conducive to a learning environment. Set healthy goals and behavior practices. Plan, implement, and evaluate all program activities and trends. Track and submit all data and reporting in a timely manner. Additional tasks may be assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
B.A. or B.S. degree with a valid CA Teaching Credential Experience working with students in grades K-6th Experience teaching literacy, math, and providing accommodations to ensure all students’ success. Experience engaging and motivating students in a classroom. Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel), Google, and Zoom required QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Possession of a valid California Multiple Subject or Single Subject Credential Fingerprints, CPR, and TB clearance must be met before assignment Strong and energetic communicator Embodies the ¡Si Se Puede! attitude COMPENSATION RANGE
