Job Captain

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Job Captain with expertise in Revit software to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture, a minimum of six years of local U.S. experience, and a proven ability to lead project documentation and coordination efforts. Key Responsibilities: Lead the production of construction documents and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining design intent and quality standards. Utilize advanced Revit skills to develop detailed architectural drawings, models, and documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and consultants to coordinate project workflows and resolve technical challenges. Work with the project Architect to ensure all documentation adheres to applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Support client presentations and communication by providing technical expertise and addressing project-related inquiries. Identify and resolve design and construction issues, providing innovative solutions to meet project goals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Minimum of 6 years of professional architectural experience in the U.S., with a strong understanding of local codes, standards, and construction practices. Advanced proficiency in Revit software is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design tools is a plus. Familiarity with construction documentation, detailing, and building systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
