Director of Operations
Location: Dexian Greensboro--Winston-Salem--High Point Area
Base pay range: $125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Overview
Director of Operations oversees and directs all operational aspects of the business, including production, logistics, installation, and customer service, to achieve strategic goals and drive growth. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills to align operations with the company’s overall vision.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals and support business growth in the display industry.
Operational Oversight:
Manage and lead all operational departments, such as production, logistics, warehousing, and installation & dismantle (I&D), ensuring seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for all operational functions to maximize return on investment and profitability.
Performance Management:
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure efficiency, quality, and timelines, using data to drive continuous improvement.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development:
Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with executive leadership, sales, marketing, and client services to ensure seamless project execution and strategic alignment.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure operations comply with safety standards, labor regulations, and industry best practices, maintaining consistent quality and standards.
Vendor & Client Management:
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate key operational contracts, and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is typically required.
Experience:
Several years of progressive experience in operations management, with significant experience in a high-level leadership role.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, budget and project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
