Supervisor, Patient Transportation Nights/Weekends

City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and treatment facilities in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix. Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today. Night shift typically works 10 pm to 6 am. Weekend availability is required. Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision to the patient transportation and resource coordinator staff including monitoring daily activity schedules and patient load. Model outstanding customer service best practices. Conduct inpatient and outpatient rounds with clinical leaders. Attend Medical Center meetings including patient satisfaction, safety, EOC, etc. Conduct daily huddles, communicate campus wide changes and initiatives to the team. Provide leadership, growth, and development to the team. Monitor patient transports, and medical equipment requests. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. 5 years or more experience in a hospital setting. 1 year or more of experience with patient transportation. Demonstrated customer service skills. BLS from American Heart Association, and Current driver's license Additional Information
