GFT is seeking a Senior or Principal Project Manager - Bridge Technical Lead to join our Transportation Team in Southeast/Central Texas. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at either our Houston or Austin, TX location. What You Will Do

Our team focuses on resilient, sustainable design and construction for highways, bridges, and traffic engineering, delivering innovative solutions for multimodal roadway systems to ensure safe, efficient travel. What you\'ll be challenged to do Provide innovative leadership and project management across multiple offices and disciplines in Central and Southeast Texas. Deliver best-in-class technical solutions in the design, inspection, delivery, and management of projects across public and private sectors. Coordinate and manage multiple practices to deliver scopes of service for projects of regional and national significance. Market and develop business in line with the corporation\'s business plan. Responsibilities Securing, planning, directing and monitoring all aspects of medium to large scale multi-discipline bridge projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving a diverse project staff. Reinforcing and continuing to establish strategic market position/service offerings for the group to align with client needs and GFT\'s strategic initiatives. Oversight of activities related to Bridge Design, Bridge Rehabilitation and NBIS Bridge Inspection. Serving as a Senior or Principal Project Manager and Bridge Technical Advisor on Project Pursuits. Mentoring and leading junior engineers. Pursuing new work and completion of RFPs as needed. Develop and maintain industry relationships to form project teaming relationships. Negotiate teaming relationships with joint ventures and/or subconsultants, subcontractors and vendors. Overseeing budget, schedules, quality control, and risk management to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget for complex bridge projects. Education | Experience
What you will bring to our firm Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering with a structural focus, Master\'s preferred 15+ years of bridge related design experience Project/Team Management experience preferred Professional Engineer license in Texas is REQUIRED Demonstrated success in managing preliminary and final design, construction documents, cost estimates, budgets, scheduling, and subcontractor management Strong familiarity with TXDOT Market standards is required Ability to interact with various design teams with excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills Track record of successfully completing projects and team leadership Solid client relationships and ability to lead bid, proposal and presentation efforts Compensation
