BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Experience with 3D CAD 3 years relevant industry experience Master’s degree, PhD or equivalent job-related experience in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to generate innovative designs with multi-functional teams, including detailed written specifications, drawings, and tolerance analyses. Experience in Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, or statistical tolerance analysis techniques Clear and concise communication skills for technical status of projects cross functionally and throughout management structure. High degree of motivation, curiosity, and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to deliver to product timelines Experience in design cycle from concept through MP with high-volume manufacturing processes and/or automation, including design validation and characterization
