Job Summary Supervise up to 20 QC Inspectors in Incoming Inspection and/or Final QA operations. Assure the timely inspection of incoming product and the final acceptance of finished devices and accessories according to established procedures and support the monthly production schedules in a cost-effective manner.

Essential Functions

Overall supervision of Quality Control Inspectors.

Plan, organize and supervise the daily work schedule to support production goals.

Aid in the development and implementation of inspection procedures for components and sub-assemblies and acceptance procedures for finished devices.

Ensure that inspection activities are performed in accordance with established procedures and the Quality System Regulations.

Monitor and continuously improve Inspection efficiency.

Prepare timely reports on Inspection results including yield and defect identification.

Assist engineers with corrective and preventive action activities as required.

Assist engineers with supplier corrective and preventive action activities as required.

Maintain accurate personnel, training and inspection records.

Enforce established personnel policies in a fair and consistent manner.

Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

High School Graduate. required

Minimum 3 years related experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical device, preferred

1-3 years’ experience with direct supervision of personnel, required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of QSR and ISO regulations.

Familiarity with mechanical and electronic test equipment.
