We use science to save lives, and so can you . We are currently recruiting for a Site Head for our Bedford, MA site to lead our US Viral Vector CDMO business. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer located in Europe, this position will lead a team of professionals across multiple functions, including Manufacturing, MSAT, Process Development, Analytical Development and Quality Control, Site Services and Supply Chain. The Site Head has a multi-faceted impact that extends from operational efficiency and client satisfaction to regulatory and quality compliance, financial performance, and the development of a forward-thinking and collaborative organizational culture. This onsite role is based in our Bedford, MA facility and will work closely with our UK and France sites to ensure OXB is a global leader in Viral Vector CDMO capabilities. Your responsibilities in this role would be: Provide strategic direction and leadership for all activities at the site including the planning and execution of manufacturing operations to meet client requirements and timelines. Accountable for the delivery and quality of client scopes of work. Lead the site wide development of short-term, mid-term, and long-range plans to support the growth and sustainability of the site’s capabilities including engineering, safety, and capacity planning. Collaborate with senior leadership and global teams to ensure alignment and delivery of manufacturing objectives. Work closely with business development teams to support client engagement and identify opportunities for growth. Responsible for financial management to the site, ensuring targets are met and identifying cost saving opportunities and strategies for optimizing resource allocation. Drive continuous improvements to ensure operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, fostering a culture of innovation and implementing best practices which contribute to the organization’s long-term success. Drive performance excellence partnering with the Quality organization to ensure the highest level of compliance throughout the facility. Achieve operational goals in quality, compliance, productivity, safety, and people development by leading and motivating teams effectively and communicating goals and standards clearly. We are looking for: Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years of experience in CDMO or Biotech Manufacturing. Demonstrated capability to lead through direct reports, compelling excellence in performance from the leadership team and the entire organization. Strong analytical, written, communication and project management skills. Experience resolving complex technical project management issues in compliance with regulatory expectations and business procedures. Knowledge of cGMP, FDA/EMA regulations and Process Performance Qualification. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Proven capacity for strategic and analytical thinking. Able to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
