Federal Policy Coordinator | Temp to Hire
The Ford Agency has an exciting opening with the Federal team of a public policy group focused on innovative technology. This is a busy, fast-paced role working with a smart and motivated policy team and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain a foothold in the policy world. Strong analytical, writing, and proof-reading skills are a must as this person will be assigned research projects and be responsible for delivering a broad range of policy-related written materials quickly and accurately. If you are a recent grad with Hill or similar strong internship experience in the policy sector, and have outstanding writing and editing skills, this could be the perfect role for you! This is a temp-to-hire position and is available immediately.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist with the drafting and the distribution of written materials related to policy priorities
Prepare memos and briefings for meetings with policy makers
Track Federal legislation and provide summaries of notable developments
Draft weekly and quarterly reports for leadership
Provide administrative and logistical support to program initiatives and events
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's Degree
1-2 years' experience in a policy or Hill environment
Professional writing and editing skills
Proficiency in MSOffice Suite and experience working with databases and CRMs
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
