Draft IT Statement of Work (SOW) / Service Level Agreements (SLA), changes orders, or amendments. Provide customer-focused contract management services to internal IT stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements, including understanding legal terminology related to supplier agreements. Develop and execute IT contracting strategies, including pricing, licensing models, and contracting trends. Assess contractual/financial exposure and negotiate contracts to protect the organization. Support vendor and contract management across multiple vendors and contracts in a fast-paced, complex environment. Apply knowledge of IT products & services from a contract and vendor management perspective and ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., SOX, SECURITY) where relevant. Utilize procurement processes and tools; proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Qualifications
12-15 years IT experience, preferably 5 years in IT Vendor Management and/or IT Sourcing. Understanding of IT products & services from a contract and vendor management perspective. Experience with commercial aspects of pricing services, contracting, and negotiation; ability to determine contractual/financial exposure. Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models, and government/industry regulations influencing contracting approaches (e.g., SOX, SECURITY). Deep market knowledge of IT vendors (Application Services, SaaS, Consulting). Strong project and process management skills; ability to handle multiple vendors, multiple contracts, and a wide range of tasks. Knowledge of best practices for IT contract negotiation tactics and strategies. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to think strategically and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment. Knowledge of Procurement Processes and Tools; proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
