Overview

Simulations Operations Assistant. Temporary Employment Program. Temporary Employment. Location: Parnassus campus. Duration through the end of October with a strong possibility of extension. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) but the schedule may vary based on needs. Training will be provided. The Simulation Operations Assistant provides hands-on support for healthcare training scenarios. The role is highly physical and requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving of equipment such as gurneys, manikins, and medical supplies. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down simulation rooms, preparing clinical equipment and task trainers, restocking supplies, and ensuring the simulation environment is safe, realistic, and ready for learners. The specialist works closely with faculty and staff to create an effective and engaging learning experience. The position supports the technical and teaching activities of the Kanbar Simulation Center as well as American Heart Association ACLS, BLS and PALS certification courses, community outreach and relationship-building activities. Ability to lift, push, and move equipment up to 20 lbs. Comfortable with prolonged standing and physical activity. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications
