Overview The Data Center Infrastructure Delivery team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a group of professionals dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art data center facilities at scale and pace. This team works with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful execution of complex data center construction and network projects, applying expertise in project management, technical design, and on-site construction to meet high standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

End-to-end program leadership from shaping the approach to achieving outcomes through delivery.

Strategic project planning for data center construction and network build projects aligned with organizational goals.

Coordinate with design teams to ensure design and construction are fully coordinated before contracting.

Collaborate with Construction teams to ensure collaboration and smooth handoffs.

Oversee all phases of complex data center construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

Coordinate Tenant Fit-Out and LV Integration to fully align tenant scopes with the overall project.

Vendor management: select, negotiate, and manage external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.

Develop and manage project budgets and monitor cost-effectiveness.

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and costs.

Maintain clear stakeholder communication with internal and external partners; provide regular project updates.

Implement and oversee quality assurance processes for construction and operational efficiency.

Conduct regular project site visits to monitor schedule, coordination, and quality as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities for complex challenges in a fast-paced construction environment.

Strategic Planning: Experience in developing long-term strategies and program-level requirements for construction projects.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of data center design, construction, and operational requirements, with a focus on sustainability.

Project Management: Proven experience managing large-scale data center construction projects from inception to completion with advanced planning and tracking.

Leadership: Ability to lead under pressure, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of project managers and engineers.

Budget Management: Experience creating and optimizing project budgets.

Risk Management: Ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Vendor Management: Experience selecting, negotiating, and managing contracts with external vendors and contractors.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement and project updates.

Additional Information US: Hiring range in USD from $120,100 to $251,600 per year, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
