Provided by the organization About the Organization: This opportunity is with a major utility provider serving over two million customers across multiple western U.S. states. The organization is a leading energy provider and grid operator in the region, actively advancing clean energy initiatives and infrastructure modernization projects. General Purpose: Provide scheduling, cost control, and other project controls functions for major projects. Responsible for developing achievable project schedules based on resource availability and constraints. Responsibilities: Develop detailed large and complex project plans and work breakdown structures to support project activity scheduling Develop cost estimates and project summary reports, including tables and graphs of earned value Collaborate with corporate offices on cost, budget, and procurement issues, identifying solutions Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and make recommendations to the Project Manager Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera Create and maintain project structures in SAP Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for critical department metrics; analyze performance and recommend improvements Provide project controls support for multiple project teams Analyze SAP project cost data variances and determine corrective actions Research and evaluate data, and independently develop creative solutions for complex processes Apply scheduling logic, constraints, lag/lead relationships, float management, and critical path methodology Develop and analyze ad hoc reports Serve as a mentor and knowledge resource for team members Provide guidance to Project Managers and stakeholders regarding project milestones Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of five years of project controls experience Leadership and teamwork skills to negotiate and influence project outcomes Experience working with full project life cycles Preferences: Knowledge of the utility or energy industry CPM certification CorSource Technology Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
