Overview
Import Operations Specialist – Freight Forwarding (Korean Bilingual). Location: Torrance, CA – On-site. Employment Type: Full-time. Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year. We are seeking an experienced Import Operations Specialist with a strong background in freight forwarding and international logistics. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end import process, ensuring smooth coordination between overseas partners, carriers, and domestic vendors. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both English- and Korean-speaking clients and partners. Responsibilities
Manage overseas shipping processes, including booking, scheduling, and tracking shipments. Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, trucking companies, and customs brokers. Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining strong client relationships. Oversee documentation and data entry related to import shipments. Resolve issues promptly to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with internal teams to support overall logistics operations. Responsibilities (Korean)
해외 수입 전 과정 관리 (booking, scheduling, shipment tracking) Carrier, shipping line, trucking company, customs broker 등과 협력 고객사 대응 및 관계 유지 (Customer Service) 수입 관련 서류 작성·관리 및 데이터 입력 배송 지연·문제 상황 신속 해결 및 법규 준수 관리 사내 물류팀과 협업하여 원활한 운영 지원 Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of freight forwarding experience in import operations. Bilingual in Korean and English preferred (due to frequent communication with Korean-speaking clients). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
