About the role The Project Controls Manager will manage and standardize project schedules while ensuring consistency and efficiency across all project phases. This role supports consistent scheduling practices, process improvement, training, and implementation amongst project teams.

Essential Functions

Standardize schedule templates.

Develop standard project reporting and monitor teams for consistency.

Develop or assist in development of CPM milestone schedules in conjunction with project terms.

From SD and DD level documents.

Update through pre-construction and drawing development phases.

Include pre-con deliverables.

Include Owner deliverables.

Include entitlements required by pre-construction manager and developer.

Develop baseline schedule with standard work breakdown structure.

In conjunction with the Superintendent, establish detailed baseline schedule.

Input identified activities and assign logic and durations to all activities.

Identify long lead items for inclusion in material delivery WBS.

Incorporate resource and cost loading as required.

Schedule Maintenance (assist project teams to ensure the following):

Update schedule with actual and projected dates at specific intervals.

Track schedules against baseline.

Track impacts and prepare reports and presentations as required.

Incorporate fragnets as required.

Interface with the Superintendent and Project Manager to prepare impact and recovery schedules.

Requirements Education and Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience with a General Contractor.

3 years of experience in the role of project scheduler.

Ability to liaise with all levels of the organization, Owners, and Subcontractors.

Maintain calm outward disposition during high volume periods of work.

Asta Powerproject scheduling software experience preferred.

Comprehensive understanding of building construction workflows and sequencing.

Current driver’s license which has been valid for the past 12 consecutive months.

Salary:

Range of $90,000 to $130,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with technical skills and experience.
