Employment Type: Full-time Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote Salary: $124,800-$183,040 Level: Senior Locations: Seattle, WA, Long Beach, CA, Irvine CA General Responsibilities: P2S is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer with experience in consulting engineering. The position is responsible for designing the heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems of buildings for bidding and construction. This position will work with a team of engineers to design the mechanical aspects of energy-efficient buildings for various clients of P2S. Our ideal candidate is typically a self-motivated individual who thrives on helping clients and has a strong technical background. We anticipate they will be involved in all phases of the project. Core Competencies Client focus and responsiveness High quality of work and attention to detail Dependability and commitment to deadlines Flexibility and adaptability to change Effective teamwork and communication Strong writing skills for clear and complete reports Commitment to ongoing education and self-development Position Requirements Registered Professional Engineer (PE License) 10+ years of engineering design and project management experience Experience with all aspects of HVAC and Plumbing Design Experience with design-build projects Experience performing energy studies, audits, and analysis Involved with Working knowledge of the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan Experience and knowledge of the state and local codes Comfortable and willing to present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and other staff Education & Certification Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) License is a plus EIT preferred with potential for PE Additional certifications are a plus What sets P2S apart?
