Leidos is excited to offer a opportunity as a Tier 3 Service Desk / Systems Administrator supporting the OSINT Integration Center under the 10-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Linux and Windows systems administration to ensure systems maintenance, optimization, and user support services. You will engage in a collaborative team environment, working across development, production, cybersecurity compliance, and quality assurance in a fast-paced setting. Your hands-on responsibilities will include technical software configuration, system reboots, and various remedial actions on customer systems. Work will be conducted on-site at our client location in Bethesda, MD, during standard business hours, with rotational coverage of the service desk from 6 AM to 6 PM. Key Responsibilities: Embrace the DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mindset. Manage builds, installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows servers, including base configuration, security patching, and performance monitoring. Implement and enforce DISA STIG compliance across all systems and networks. Develop server builds for both virtual and physical environments. Handle the configuration and deployment of integration tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm. Write scripts for patching, configurations, and infrastructure tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Design and support scalable and redundant infrastructure, both physical and virtualized. Utilize configuration management tools such as Salt and Ansible for automation and orchestration. Manage system documentation, tune performance, install software, and ensure timely implementation of security patches. Work with COTS and FOSS storage solutions effectively. Enhance existing infrastructures by integrating the latest technology and cross-application solutions. Administer cloud environments, especially AWS, including provisioning and optimization. Collaborate with teams to maintain agile practices and workflows. Provide excellent customer service and support to maintain strong relationships. Administer accounts, including creation, password resets, troubleshooting, and terminations. Coordinate work schedules with Service Desk teammates to ensure coverage from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. At least 4 years of professional experience in related fields. MUST possess an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Experience in system integration testing across the system development life cycle, including managing test plans and processes. Exposure to Agile project management methodologies. Knowledge in deriving security requirements. Experience in documenting test results for corrective actions and audits. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative team player who is also a self-starter. Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Proficient in patching with yum and APT repositories. Experience with server builds in virtual and physical environments. Familiarity with cloud services and operations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data engineering tools like Kubernetes/Rancher and Cloudera. Configuration Management experience (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt) and IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation. Proficiency in script languages like Bash, Python3, and PowerShell. Experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Nexus, and Docker. Familiarity with ELK stack components including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. Experience with Windows Systems Administration and Active Directory troubleshooting. Experience in managing large endpoint environments (>1,000 endpoints).
