$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee the adjusters, intake unit, medical billing unit, clerks and statistical reporting staff (HCRA, CMS Reporting, SROI/FROI). Ensure and manage complete and timely filings. Coordinate with various company supervisors for coverage on matters as necessary. Oversee the filing of forms with the WC Board. Ensure timely payments of claimants’ awards ordered by the WC Board as well as indemnity payments. Ensure the timely processing of bill payments to vendors. Negotiate bill reductions as needed. Run ISO searches. Strategize claim resolution. Manage defense cost. Ensure the proper and timely filing of Medicare Secondary Payer information. Train personnel. Attend WC Board and Medical Arbitration hearings where appropriate. Complete performance reviews for team leaders. Assist team leaders with annual evaluation and direction. Negotiate settlements as necessary. Manage vendor relations and review vendor agreements. Work with house counsel on various claim issues. Participate in reinsurance audits. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years workers' compensation claims experience. Proven management track record, must have managed a team of at least 10 claims personnel. For hire industry experience is a plus not a must. Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for managing supervisors and adjusters workloads, intake unit, medical billing unit, clerks and statistical reporting staff (HCRA, Medicare, SROI/FROI). Seniority level
