Associate Director of Integration Programs

The Associate Director oversees direct service staff and monitors client service provision, documentation and program compliance for all Integration Programs: Employment, Social Adjustment Services, and Refugee Cash/Medical Assistance. Purpose The Associate Director oversees direct service staff and monitors client service provision, documentation and program compliance for all Integration Programs. Responsibilities Oversee Integration Programs: Employment, Social Adjustment Services, and Refugee Cash/Medical Assistance. Provides ongoing coaching, mentoring, feedback and guidance to direct service staff to improve performance and completes annual performance evaluations for direct service staff. Promotes teamwork, coordinates the workload of direct service staff and delegates responsibilities; communicates regularly with the Site Director. Ensures that CWS Houston clients receive funder-required services in a timely manner. Maintain relationship and communication with Texas Office for Refugees (TXOR) personnel, as well as other external communications as necessary. Conduct regular team meetings. Coordinates in-house support services and referrals to external service providers as necessary. Works with Site Director, Southwest Regional team, and CWS HQ program liaisons to provide on-going training to staff on program developments and service requirements. Participate in Leadership Team, and all-staff meetings. Conduct conflict resolution with disgruntled clients as needed. Program Management Duties Oversee the management of all TXOR program budgets and conduct a thorough review of the financial situation on a monthly basis. Conducts regular reviews of client case files to ensure quality in service provision and fulfillment of documentation requirements. Create / update integration-related policies as needed to ensure optimal service delivery. Oversee audits, monitoring, and meet with donor regarding outcomes and responses with the Site Director. Prepare and submit yearly contract/budget proposals which includes various documents and reports Prepare and submit monthly and bi-annual reports to TXOR in coordination with the Site Director. Participate in regular TXOR meetings and quarterly community consultations. Develops and nurtures relationships with community partners at the local level to increase integration opportunities for refugees. Stays informed about refugee and immigrant issues, and available services to refugees, using current information to better identify and serve refugee clients. Undertake other duties as assigned by Site Director. Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 7 years' previous experience in the field of direct services working with immigrant and refugee communities. Minimum of 2 year's previous supervisory experience in program management. Other Skills Demonstrated commitment to excellence with a track record that includes close attention to detail, strong project coordination and problem-solving skills, strong verbal communication skills including in-person networking, and writing skills and a high degree of cultural competency. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be comfortable with public speaking and representing CWS programs in meetings and facilitating trainings.
