Technical Project Manager (Rights Management) – Milestone Technologies
Onsite in Burbank, CA (Hybrid 3-4 days); Local candidates only will be considered. Pay up to $88/hr. The range is provided by Milestone Technologies, Inc. The Technical Program Manager will be an integral part of the Content Production and Distribution Global Program Management team. This team creates products, platforms, and innovations by driving the strategic development and use of technology, building scalable systems and products to empower businesses and engage consumers. This is a contractor position within a Global Program Management Organization focused on Rights Management and Content Avails. Responsibilities
Lead Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinements, retrospectives, and demos. Provide support using a servant-leadership style, facilitate discussions and decision making in meetings, and resolve team impediments at multiple levels of the organization. Coach teams in their journey to Agile, support their self-organization and Agile methodology knowledge growth. Maintain proactive and open communications to drive transparency on achievements, plans, and risks. Collaborate with Product and Engineering Teams to understand and report the status, business value, and scope of enhancements. Facilitate the launch of new products and enhancements from kickoff through deployment to closure. Manage projects that impact the scrum team, including developing project plans and timelines. Identify and manage issues and risks and drive decision making. Communicate delivery times and scope to other software engineering teams that depend on timely delivery. Coordinate leads-level project syncs and project reviews with senior and executive leadership. Basic Qualifications
Must have Rights & Avails experience and more than just exposure to Avails Management Must have Rightsline experience Experience in the entertainment space SDLC experience working with very technical teams Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical program management focused on software application development Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Lead for cross-functional Agile teams Working knowledge of Jira/Confluence supporting Agile methodologies Experience with Smartsheet or MS Project Experience with software development (SDLC) practices Desire to expand domain and technical knowledge and take on additional responsibilities Ability to work East or West Coast hours with flexibility for meetings in different time zones Preferred Qualifications
Technical knowledge of UI and metadata management within software development Advanced knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) Experience with metadata management, version control, and bulk title registration workflows Experience in content planning, rights management, or metadata systems Education
