Overview
Regional Business Director (RBD) to lead commercial activities for AUVELITY in the NYC Metro Region. The RBD will supervise and lead a salesforce aligned to geographical boundaries, develop region-specific strategies, and drive launch execution with a focus on patient outcomes and business results.
Responsibilities Supervise operations of the Region, including driving results, hiring and coaching, account manager development, performance management, and prioritization of key accounts within the medical community
Develop and implement strategic regional plans balancing live and virtual interactions to optimize team efforts
Plan, organize, and drive region-wide performance through coaching and influence of direct reports
Establish and maintain effective cross-functional communication among Region members and with Accounts and Market Access teams
Maintain technical expertise to respond accurately to questions about products, marketing, policies, and business issues
Ensure direct reports understand and execute established expectations; coach and develop selling skills and product knowledge
Lead planning and execution of plans of action with Region and Market Access teams
Develop and implement Region business plan; manage Region budget and overall P&L alignment with regional and national goals
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and processes; maintain high ethical standards
Overnight travel as needed; perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of field leadership experience and/or payer account management with increasing responsibility
Pharma/biotech or medical marketing/sales experience with 3–5 years in first-line leadership
Proven ability to coach and develop others; track record of delivering results and retaining talent
Experience leading teams to success and launching products; strong people leadership and development skills
Proximity to the territory and willingness to travel as needed; strong digital marketing aptitude
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience in psychiatry-related products and/or disease area is preferred
Salary & Benefits
The anticipated salary range is $170,000 – $210,000, with potential flexibility on final title and responsibilities. Axsome offers a competitive package including annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
