Overview

Location: Seattle, WA 98122 – Experience the heart of Seattle with access to parks, restaurants, and cultural hotspots.

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,830 - $1,960 per week

Employment Type: Travel Nursing

Unit: High Risk Antepartum (5SW Antepartum)

Float Requirement: May float to Postpartum unit

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in OBGYN nursing or high-risk antepartum nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or Compact state
• AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience circulating for C-sections and caring for patients with complex antepartum conditions
• Proficient in maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC) and administering medications such as anticoagulants, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate
• First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to high-risk antepartum patients (6 to 41 weeks gestation) with conditions including PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, twins, and substance use disorder in pregnancy
• Assist with bedside procedures such as amniocentesis and sterile speculum exams
• Circulate for C-sections and provide postpartum care for mothers with babies in NICU
• Float to postpartum unit as needed
• Utilize PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and manage PICC/central lines
• Offer compassionate care for fetal demise or loss patients in both antepartum and postpartum settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
